Some New Makes...

Well Hello there...

I can't believe how long its been since i last posted....but i have been such a busy bee else where recently with work and moving house

I have managed to get a little crafting done though and here are some of my creations...

This is a pullout flower pot card for my mums birthday which was on thursday, it was really funny when she got it because she couldn't find the opening to the card....and when she eventually worked it out that you pull the flower part out, i made a note of saying to her that it must have been here age to of taken that long to work out how to find the greeting!

This is a birthday card that was for my O/H dad whose birthday was yesterday, we went out for a lovely meal and had such a great laugh and catch up with all the family!
This bookmark was made for a friend to give to her friend who has just retired, she bought him a first edition cricket book and wanted a little personalised gift to go with it, so what better than a bookmark eh...

And last but not least a get well card, for someone who's just had an operation.....nothing too fussy...
Well thats it for now folks, off to make a few more cards and to carry on with the packing of all our junk into boxes ready for the move!

Well....can you believe this no "blogging" for ages and then 2 in one night.....typical...

I had to post these pics though....the first one....you guessed it.....NO...i've not turned my hand to being a chocolatier....and i know i'm almost a week behind....but this is the lovely easter egg/present i got from my other half....was a bit shocked to be honest....he managed to sneak out of work and get this, and knocked on the front door (when i wasn't expecting anyone round) and when i opened the door i was presented with this....its almost 1/2 a metre in height and my partner was hiding his face behind it....i didnt know what to say.......but how sweet hey?
These next pics are of a gift/favour/goodies bag....I went to a local craft store that had non other than Clare Curd from the Do Crafts team doing a Demo of Papermania products....Such an easy and quick, yet effective bit of crafting......had to have a go myself ...just to make sure i remembered how to do it.....i used nik-naks of crafting materials i've got lying around to do this for my first go...just incase i got it wrong!!!

Thanks for checking my blog out today

Well Hello all...I know its been a while since i last "blogged"....but i have been so busy....i'm in the midst of moving house at the moment.....so the house is a little upside down....goodness knows what i'm going to do when i have to actually pack all my crafting stuff away!!!
I had a "Little Play" around my blog last night....nothing major (i daren't incase i delete anything) as i'm still not completely sure about my way round here...so bear with me for a little longer!!!
I have got a few cards to share with you tonight....that i've really enjoyed doing when i've had a few moments to myself (and that i've savoured doing...knowing that it may be my last make before i move house!) hope you like them!!!

Made this male card twice actually with only a slight variation (can see the other card on my docrafts web page...if you want...link is under my profile pic!)

This is a wedding Congrats card with the couples Initials "dangling"......

And here are 2 traditional looking birthday cards for some special ladies celebrating their 50th Birthday's ...

Really enjoyed making these cards for a friend of mine to give to their Nanna on their 80th Birthday...hope you like them too....
A 30th wedding aniversary card that obviously incorporated Pearls!!!

Weird Brief....

Hi Guys....not my choice of card....and actually found this quite difficult.....
I was asked to make a card that incorporated the horse with some gardening and vegetables....and this is what i came up with..... (above!!!)

This second card (because the photo was so big when given to me...and i couldnt trim it down too much!) it really dominated the card.....but was told not to make it too fussy anyway....so it turned out OK.....
Must admit...not the best of my work ...but the lady i made them for was really impressed and loved them xxx

This is my last post of the night (or should i say morning now!)
This is actually my first attempt at a 12x12 scrap-page that I have framed too!
A friend of mine at work wanted something special to give to his mum for her 50th Birthday....the specification was (bearing in mind this is a male!) was... "a photo frame that looks special" ...that was all i had to work with...
So with 3 different photos to hand.....i came up with a 12x12 scrap-page....i'm quite pleased for a first effort!!!

Love this card and loved making it too....think i will be using this layout and style again....and again...and again...ha ha ha!!!

Another card i've made this week is this one for a friend of a friend, i really like this layout of the handbags and have also used presents in the same way for a card layout....very chic' for all those handbag loving ladies!!! ha ha ha!!!

Hello all...

must apologise for not blogging lately...(more excuses!)....but it really has been hectic these last few weeks....particularly at work!!!

Also some good news that i have managed to sell my house and have bought a new house too...all in less than a week!!!....total madness!!!

Well, anyway...here is a card that i made for a friends boss who is mad about race horses...its hard enough trying to make a masculine card...never mind with subjects that im not used to...but it seems to have worked "OK".......
